The challenge
Sport Industry Group aimed to create a memorable digital experience for the FEVO Sport Industry Awards 2024 shortlist announcement. With 110 organisations from the UK sports industry to be recognised across 18 categories, the challenge was to deliver a special recognition that would also encourage social media engagement, especially for those predominantly based in London.
The solution
XRii developed an AR Valentine’s Day experience featuring a teddy bear that transported users into an immersive world. Participants entered an AR portal, engaged in a game of popping balloons to discover a hidden message, and were prompted to take a photo and share their unique moment online. This immersive activity captivated users and fostered social sharing, enhancing the celebratory experience.
