XRii implemented a multifaceted solution to revolutionise the fan experience and strengthen community engagement through a custom native app. The app debuted with a captivating AR-infused Scavenger Hunt, stealing the spotlight at the Melbourne Renegades KFC BBL|13 home opener against the Perth Scorchers! Fans enthusiastically participated in the hunt, collecting custom AR collectibles to hunt for merchandise discounts, free tickets, and a signed shirt.
